This is a fairly recent addition to my listening rotation and quickly became an unskippable track for me. The first time I heard it was actually during a massage, I wanna say in September or October of 2021. At the time, I was in a quiet and chill room with minimal lighting. Something about this track I just really vibed with. That’s the only way I can put it, I vibed with it.

After that, I found out the title and artist and literally up until this post I thought the track was called Meridian Gateway, not Getaway. Regardless, here it is in my Unskippable playlist and honestly depending on the volume I listen to this track at, it kinda changes the feeling I get from it.

On a lower volume it’s a very chill, somewhat meditative track that, for me, inspires introspection and reflection while the “waves” from the music wash over me allowing me to relax. At a louder volume, the waves still hit and the vibe is still chill, but there’s an element of groove added that, while listening I might start chair dancing and/or bobbing my head.

If you’re looking for something that is a great background groove while doing something else, give Meridian Getaway a try. I’m sure you wont be disappointed.
